Luster Legacy Vending Co. was borne out of honoring my grandmother. Unfortunately, dementia has been a recurring issue in my family for multiple generations. As a child, my mother witnessed her grandfather struggle with dementia. In December 2020, I was faced with a similar reality when my grandmother was diagnosed with the same condition. Given my grandmother’s fondness for sweets and snacks, I decided to honor her memory by launching Luster Legacy Vending. This venture aims to provide some of her favorite treats while simultaneously raising awareness about dementia in the community.
